However, as an early birthday present, my parents bought me a Ninja Mega Kitchen system! The addition of this instrument to my kitchen truly turned my jump into clean eating into a swan dive! Many clean recipes require the use of a blender or food processor, neither of which my parents have. Therefore the purchase of one such instrument was very necessary.
I absolutely love this system and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to purchase a food processor, blender or smoothie maker. I checked on their website, and there is an upgrade attachment too for slicing potatoes and shredding cheese! I can't wait to get that one! I got this nifty little gadget from my Aunt Linda when she passed away. It is a lifesaver for someone like me who doesn't like egg yolk. It easily separates the two parts of the egg! Seriously if you don't have one of these, get one!
If you have any interest in being truly healthy and cleansing your body of any toxins, then you're going to need a juicer. I don't use one very often, so I bought a fairly inexpensive one, but it works just as well as the more expensive versions. This is a Bella brand juicer. I would also suggest have some sort of brush implement, like an old toothbrush, to clean the mesh bowl that is inside of the juicer. Trust me when I say that the dish washer will not be enough!
